Empowering King City with Affordable, Reliable, and Renewable Energy
King City Community Power (KCCP) residents and businesses enjoy discounted rates compared to the utility, thanks to eligible annual rebates, but the community benefits don’t end there.
Since 2020, KCCP has utilized renewable energy sources, sponsored solar installations, and funded street lighting to enhance community safety and sustainability. KCCP is proud to have sponsored over a dozen roof-top solar installations, in partnership with Grid Alternatives, in King City. That is more than approximately 42 kW of clean power for families in our community! In addition, KCCP has aided in the installation of lights and streetlights throughout the community.
King City’s Community Choice Aggregation provides electricity and special programs with the common goal of utilizing cleaner energy. Our purpose is to give King City’s community an affordable choice in purchasing your electricity while maintaining reliable service in partnership with Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E).
